Journalists made the NCAA football rankings. What I do not understand is why I don’t have a take. If I were chosen to be one of those journalists this would be my NCAA football rankings:
- 1. Notre Dame. I chose Notre Dame for their amazing defense and offense. Having a good defense is a very vital part of being number one. LA Tech averages 51.5 points per game. It takes a lot of effort to stop a team like that.
- 2. Alabama. Alabama probably would beat the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, but that does not mean that they are the number one team. To be the number one team this year you will probably have to be undefeated at the end of the season. Alabama has already lost a game to Texas A&M who is currently ranked number nine. This is why I ranked them number two instead of number one.
- 3. Oregon. The only ELITE player Oregon lost was LaMichael James from last year, so with that many returning players from a strong team – they deservet to be number 3.
- 4. Georgia. Georgia is really ranked number three. If you lose to North Carolina state you can’t just be put at number three. North Carolina state is a very good football team so I just put Georgia one step back to number four.
- 5. LSU. LSU lost against Alabama 21-17. Losing to a former number one team just by four does not mean that you are number one, but it definitely does not mean that they should be ranked number seven – so I put them at number five.
